I got my copy of Heritage Iron out of the mailbox yesterday and noticed that
next month they will feature a JD5020. We had two 4020's, one wide front and
one tricycle. The tricycle is still here. The wide front (60 model) was sold
in '91 when the "real" farming on our place ceased. It was the first big
tractor I ever used for field work. I know of the fellow that bought it and
might could track it down, but I don't need or have the funds to obtain it.
This is strictly a case of I want THAT tractor, not one that is identical
to it.
If you want to get technical, you could say the 4020 doesn't count as there
is already one here (although it is a different year model and configured
differently !). Then I am torn between an 8010/8020 Deere, IH 806
industrial, Mogul 45hp, or a 40-80 Avery. Each of those have some unique
features that make them very eye-catching to me.
