That 700R4 is not really a hard rebuild job if you have some time to
follow a repair manual. Not really any hard to make tools to rebuild
it.. I rebuilt one in my 82 1/2 ton about 20 years ago and had only
rebuilt a 350 before it.. It had 90K miles on it before I parked the
truck with a bad valve...
