[AT] Pressure washers

My electric powered Coleman has been good for the 15 years or so I have had
it. I think its about 1500 psi max and that is plenty high enough to do
damage if you don't know what you are doing. When I first tried it out I
accidentally peeled off one of the service decals on the hood of a tractor
before realizing just how powerful that spray of water was. Weak paint and
rusty panels will give way to the high pressure spray. And 1500 psi is
plenty to damage your skin too as I found out. Can't recall just how but I
got a finger near the tip of the spray and it stung me. Not enough to do
damage but a good warning that it could have been worse.
For cleaning a vehicle I 've found that even the high pressure will not do a
good clean job of removing road dirt. I have to finish the job off with a
chamois (shammy)and hot water.
