I've had a magicjack for going on three years. I didn't try to
transfer my number to it because that was not an issue. We've taken it
overseas and used it to call home for free. I loan it out to friends
travelling so they can call home or be called.

Sometimes the voice quality suffers due to net traffic but so far I've
been very pleased with it. Especially for the money I paid.
