I talked to a guy once that was a case worker for the Employment Security
Commission. He said he worked his way through college working as an iron
worker in the summers. He's got his spud belt with the spuds and a hammer
hanging on the wall behind his desk. He said it came in handy when dealing
with folks that didn't think they should have to work hard and wanted to
start out with a fancy office job.
