Gary,  have you looked online for the operators manual for your camera? 
There's bound to be a way to reset it.
For that matter, I saw a 8 megapixel point and shoot type digital camera 
advertized in WalMart the other day for less than $100.00.  Maybe it's time 
to upgrade?  LOL.
