OK I'll add a little to this as I was the one that started ATIS at Portland.

It was not so much as not helping or bring displays as it was the directors
knowing we did. Last year we all got and turned in our vouchers. Also
those that were close, like Gene, went to work day. Thanks!!!

I understand the change in location of the tractors. I don't like it but
understand the directors changes. It puts the tractors, threshing, and
sawmill out next to the new ground the club bought. That way the tractors
are not 'static' displays. Downside it is in an open field with NO shade.
No good place for us to back up against and park.

Nor should Gene. If we want a space, he has the tents. Who wants to step up
to fill them??? I will be there on Saturday with Gene and help him with the
tents and such. But his tractor will be with the threshing crew and mine on
the buzz saw at the sawmill. As I help with that crew.

So who is going to haul a tractor to Portland?????

Other items. The tractor folks will go to the Mexican in Portland on Wed.
night. On Thursday night there will be an ALL ATIS dinner with the engine
list folks. I know in the past some have caused/had a problem with this.
Not so in the last couple of years and hope to see you there. Due to work
issues Spencer may not be at Portland this year but wanted me to let all
know he would like us ALL to attend the Thursday night dinner and charity
auction .
