After a little testing with the lights last night, it looks like the 100
amp alternator will be replacing the generator.!!! Only trouble is that
it uses a swing mount and GM one wires do not have a swing mount. I can
get a aftermarket replacement from High Capacity for $176 and I am ready
to do that to prevent a lot of fabrication. With my Dad needing
constant watching after his stroke, I don't need a lot more projects. I
have my 4010 Diesel w/loader tore down waiting on Injectors and inj
pump. The 4010 LP needs a loader installed and The crank Pulley and
hood and dash need to be put back together. The JX 85 Case needs the
loader installed, and the 7600 Ford 4x4 w/loader needs rewiring and the
new alternator installed along with seals in the trans and front drive
axle. The MF65 needs a front support installed, and the 5000 Ford has
the hydraulic hoses torn off when a hitch pin broke.

I need to be twins or triplets to get all of this done. All the
tractors I mentioned are getting paint jobs and going to an auction in
the spring, except my new JX85 of course.
