[Farmall] Farmall not starting---still!

Make sure the condenser is not touching the case and shorting out. Also
clean all connections and the brass posts they connect to. Sometimes just a
simple over look can cause no spark.

OKay, I checked with my light. When the switch is on, I am getting juice
to the points. Just no spark. I put on a different coil, still same
response. Cleaned the points. Still no spark. What is it point towards (the
condenser is new, but that does not mean it is good).

Mike, I will double check, but I am getting juice out of the switch when
it is one. And, the tractor had ran previously, and I had not changed the
wiring at the switch. It is toggle switch a previous owner installed when
they converted it to 12 volt with a coil.

Thanks

Larry

Check the switch position: the switch for a magneto works just the
opposite of an electric ignition - it shorts to ground when pushed in
and opens when pulled out. Depending on how they did the conversion from
mag to electric, they might have left the switch as is and used it
backwards ("off" is out, and "on" is in).
