Maybe buy OEM parts, although that's no guarantee. Mike

That sounds aggravating--here is one that is downright scary. Dad blew a
brakehose on his '95 Ford F-150 pickup. He got a pair from NAPA---made in
China. I decided to change the hoses on mine since my truck is a '91 model.
Ordered my parts from Autozone. Made in China---and the groove for the
retaining clip was cut in the wrong place on one of them so you couldn't
install it through the chassis. Got a set of Wagner hoses from an
independent auto store---made in China again. At least they fit. My point
being that something as important as brakes being trusted to the Chinese is
beyond stupid.
Mandatory tractor reference--those 2 trucks have carried us to many tractor
shows and even a few salvage yards!
As for tractor parts that don't fit, I wish there was an independent site
to post reviews of the reproduction parts we buy. I've had some stuff that
was nice and some stuff that was junk requiring modification to make it fit.
Don't get me wrong, I'm glad this stuff is available but if it doesn't fit
or work properly, what good is it?
