I have had a roller bearing ( TOB ) in my loader cub forover 6 years with
no problems. I use the tractor every day to do heavy lifting in my shop. ( a
lot of clutching ) . Before I had a graphite replacement bearing that
lasted only a month. It was a case IH part. I since have been using roller
bearings in all the cubs I restore. I Have installed 15 in the last 5 years and
have had NO problems. ButT! I repack the bearing before I install them.

If you buy the C/Ih graphite bearing you will find it lasts better. I
have tried the roller/ball bearing types, and also aftermarket graphite
ones. neither lasted more thna a few months. The IH graphite bearing
comes prelubed with the graphite soaked with oil. the after market ones
are dry and do not get any lube till it soaks through the graphite form
the rear.
