[AJD] JD B Width Question? oops

Ooops. My math isn't so good today. While I still recommend a 12' opening,
my math would suggest a 10' minimum width.
................................

1952 JD B's come in various rear wheel and axle configurations. High
clearance B's could come with as long as 104" axles(tire centerline to tire
centerline) plus the width of a 1/2 tire on each side.

So to be safe I wouldn't recommend anything less than a 12' gate or two 6'
doors. Typically the width will be much less than that but you don't know
what you are going to try to get through that gate in the future. Don't
want to have to redo the gate later or rebuild it because you didn't quite
get in the center going through. Saves allot of @#$%^& words. Some
implements may prefer this size as well. If you build it too wide you will
never run into it. Scrimp a bit and by definition you will.

Subject: [AJD] JD B Width Question?

Hi all--

I'm gearing up for bringing home my 52 JD B. I need to put in a double door
in our fence. What is the width of the back axel? I need to know how large
my doors need to be.

Thanks and sorry about the goofy question.
