Free info (and worth every penny you paid for it)-

I have a friend who teaches "crane safety", for large plants who have overhead cranes, in order to meet their OSHA requirements.  He carries a large box of failed parts formerly used on cranes which were modified to adapt to larger hooks or bolts, from this observation I would suggest any part (like a trailer hitch) which has been modified is disposable!

Bentonite- is a clay in the Pharmaceutical industry it is used in some protective hand creams as a water or oil repellent, I presume using it in grease adds body to the grease & makes it coat the parts better.  It is the same as drilling mud but of finer refined particle size (large particles might act the same as sand & wear parts).
