[AT] coating for lawnmower deck

Get the spray on pick-up bed coating.  You can get it in spray cans for 
about $6 and one can will coat most lawn mower decks.  Be sure to clean 
the deck good before applying. It seems to last forever and nothing 
sticks to it.
