G'day Chris

Good news ... bad news.

My MF workshop manual refers only to the MF135.

Adjustment of the clutches on all the 100 series tractors is by means of a
removable plate under the bell housing. Hopefully the manufacturer of
your loader will have fitted one. My loader has the belly mount made of
200mm wide channel with an access plate bolted to it.

The manual shows pics of and describes the adjustment process with the
engine removed from the transmission. The primary clutch has 3 release
levers, each fitted with a lock-nutted setscrew.

To set these, the manual simply shows a pic of MF Service Tool #220 ( a
flat, C shaped plate) placed edge on to the rear of the pressure plate so
that the centre of the C rests on a lever, which is adjusted to meet it.
The tool is then fitted over the other 2 levers and they are adjusted in
turn.

The secondary plate is also adjusted by lock-nutted set screws, located
between the pairs of coil springs on the periphery of the clutch plate.
For the MF135, the clearance between each setscrew head and the secondary
pressure plate is 0.090 inches (2.286mm) +/- 0.002 in.

I can fax the 2 relevent pages if you wish.
