Steve,

That is exactly what I have - the three point hitch with lift and rear
PTO spline shaft. The fellows at the Cadet dealer know the machine
and it's history. I got the impression from them that the former
owner did not treat the thing kindly (saying it's had two shafts
replaced in the past.)

I got the tiller (as yet unused by me) and the Brush Cutter with the
Cub Cadet. I have used the brush cutter, but carefully, and on two-
three-year-old hay field weeds. The biggest thing I hogged was
thistle bushes that might have been just under an inch at the ground,
but I'll not do them any more. (I'll cut them by hand and have a
bonfire come winter.)

I may use the tiller, but on small areas that now have similar weeds,
hoping there are very few rocks in the area I'll work.

Thanks for the info, I'm learning more all the time about this Cadet.

Roy
