[AT] test

Our evening weather reports on TV show Hanna moving ashore just east of
Wilmington. I always worry about the USS North Carolina. Active ships can
go to sea, but the North Carolina is stuck there. It's been over 25 years
since I got to visit her. At that time, she looked as if she could be
fueled and provisioned and be ready to fight.

My sister lives just outside of Raleigh. I never thought about that area
getting major hurricane damage until she moved there, but her house has been
damaged twice.

LOL I had forgotten that until you mentioned it Bill.
Well I'm waiting for another one. This one will not be much. It's already
raining here and it's huricane rain (if you've been around a few of them you
can tell the difference) but no wind yet. The storm is supposed to go
inland 100 miles or so south of us so I don't think we'll get much wind out
of it. The tide is already rising a bit.
New Bern is up stream at the end of the wide part of the Neuse River. Any
kind of east wind blows tide water in here so it must be starting to blow a
little off shore or there is a pretty good storm surge ahead of Hanna one or
the other.
