Stihl is about the only good saw line any longer, and even they are 
slipping some.

  Husqvarna used to make real good saws but unless you buy one of the 
heavy duty pro models the lower end are crap. Poulan, Craftsman, 
Jonsered, Husqvarna are all made in the same plant, using many of the 
same parts.
