Farmer I don't like PDF either but if you have to transmit large files with 
photo attachments, maps, etc. it is the only reasonable way to do it.  It is 
slow for what it is but the pdf files are so much smaller than the document 
files would be if you had to send them in word, XL or Powerpoint that it 
more than makes up the difference.

At best it is a necessary evil.
