Charlie, I thought it was about 28% tax but just to be sure I looked it up 
at
http://www.saskgasprices.com/can_tax_info.aspx
and was surprised to see it is even higher. Averaging about 35% across 
Canada.
15 cents per litre tax plus another 5% GST  (goods and services tax) also 
known by some as the gouge and screw tax.
