Charlie, I think MS has a conversion program that can convert Works documents to .doc format.  Mike M

open documents written in MS Works Wordprocessor.  It's basically just a 
scaled down version of Word and Word will open the files.  For some reason 
OpenOffice doesn't recognize them.
