At the rate things have been changing with the 08 book I will be shocked 
if the new requirement isn't that you keep a copy of the code book you 
used next to the main panel.... I did that with the new entrance I 
installed in the shop. Mainly because the local codes officer is a 
dingbat who tries to enforce HIS WAY, regardless of what the correct law 
is. He has been called on the carpet a few times but they won't toss him 
out.
