Ed,

JD in their Parts Catalog listings uses "Integral" pretty loosely. All the way
from those that are mounted on the front frame(underslung) to two point versions
to three point versions. They list "Semi-Integral" as those plows that are
mounted to and lifted by the draft arms of the three point hitch but the tail
wheel remains on the ground which also may be controlled by a hydraulic
cylinder.   Semi-Integral seems to have been used when the plows got so big the
whole plow couldn't be lifted by the three point hitch. I suspect different
manufacturers used different terminology. Generalizations of the terms may not
be possible. See some sample below.

I agree   almost totally 
        -with the exception  that   integral is not   3 pt...     the  
integral hitches basically  pull by 1 point  and  hold by 3,  4  or more points
in 
some companies designs..
 
and semi mounted as  we know it..  actually is a  pull plow  with the main 
wheels pulled off ...   its really a minor thing  aint it...
