[AT] OT - big computer problem

 Mike;
The time my computer said "operating system not found" I took my computer to 
the shop. (I had extended warranty)  They said I'd picked up a virus and it 
had deleted the operating system OR my ability to boot to it. They 
reinstalled the operating system AND their virus software. (I had been 
running another virus stopper but it hadn't done it's job) The biggest 
problem, I lost all of my "stuff". Thankfully I had everything on an 
external backup hard drive.
Hopefully you'll fair better.
