I'm getting more interested in the guy that took a 3-cyl Perkins and put it on a motorcycle frame.  It supposedly got 90 MPG, I'll bet they wouldn't think to check it for dye :-)  
The tractor engines have cast oil pans to be part of the tractor structure, but I think the engines off power units have stamped oil pans and are lighter.  Yep, I need a Perkins / Harley.
