Good point.  We're running 18 volt DeWalts, but they still don't generate
the torque of a corded drill.

I gave up on my DeWalt corded keyless drill, I just grind a flat spot or two

on the drill bit until the dam thing quits slipping.  My biggest cordless is

14 volt DeWalt and it does not have enough power to slip a bit.
