Roberto,
You may want to check the magneto. I had the mag get stuck on my Regular one time and it acted about the same way. It would turn till the impulse spring wound up, and then wouldn't go any further.

Got close to the 2236 and triyed to turn the crank, it rotated over 90
degrees but very haevly, ...... and then stop and i couldnt rotate anymore,
last time the tractor runned was two years ago, the only thing i did was
to take the sparks off and put diesel oil in each cilinder,
in order to stop de corrosion (if there are some). Of course i know i
have now to open the engine and at least change the sleeves, and
rings,.... according my free time this will not be able before six
monthes, What can i do in order to protect the engine during this
time???.
All suggestion will be apreciated since i do not have experience with
engines sutck.

Thanks in advance.

Here can be seen the (Grand father of the Wheatlands,..... could be this
right.????) http://picasa.google.com/rj.rivero/McD2230601
