Unfortuately, I add oil to my F-20 often so I know where the plug is. The
fill plug is on top of the trans near where your left heel rests when you
are driving the tractor. Its tucked up into a corner and a pain to get a
wrench on. The same plug fills the transmission and differential. The oil
level plug is on the front of the transmission near the input shaft. Fill
through the top hole until oil comes out of the hole on the front. The
final drives are filled seperately from the transmission. You will find a
large plug near the top of the final drive (drop down). There are two small
plugs near the bottom of the final drive. The bottom one is a drain and the
one above it is the oil level check. Add oil to the big plug on top until
oil runs out of the check plug. Add oil to the final drive slowly. It
doesn't take very much oil and overfilling contributes to axle seal leaking.
Hope this helps.
