[AT] vapor locking

A fuel filter for a 1979 Jeep CJ-5 with a 304 V8 has a return line nipple on
it. Even after I put a Chevy 350 in my Jeep, I still used that type of fuel
filter in-between the pump and carb, to help prevent vapor lock.

Well you could do what GM and other auto makers did when they had
problems with vapor lock. Add a return line system. You would need a
filter with a return fitting OR a home made one. A fuel pressure
regulator and a pump capable of excess flow. Or you could use the latest
system and just up the fuel pressure and use a regulator on the feed end.
