I will try to look at my D in the next few days to get you a measurement.  I
won't be able to do it tomorrow.  There is a special shouldered nut on the
long rod.  You might be able to get away with a bushing jammed between two
nuts.

Howdy

I am finally finishing my J D restoration, have added shutters that were
missing, but am trying to find out the length of each of the control rods.. 
the first is there, but had been cut off..  I can see it
will be difficult to try to figure out the length, since the hood aparantly 
has to be in place to measure, but it is hard to get to.
 
Does anyone have those measurements handy who would share
them with me..
