This horse is on his knees, but here goes.

Put a semi on the road with 300 gallons of fuel ( you figure it up, over a 
$1300), and your driver pulls in a truck stop for a meal and shower, comes 
out 45 min later find the tanks empty.  A 1" hole is drilled in the side of 
each tank (with a 18 volt drill and hole saw), insert a 3/4" hose, hook up a 
good 12 volt pump, and presto, you are out a bunch of money.  You never know 
how many of the truckers in that stop are broke, and can not get their rigs 
farer down the road, mostly to poor planning and management.  It sure makes 
them desperate.
