Cecil,

I, at least, am new to sheep.  We have about 20 Katahdins here.  My  
wife tells me that one of the "boys" born earlier this year has  
escaped the banding we did.OOPS.  Well, anyway:

Do your sheep crowd together to stay warm and do themselves in?  I  
know chickens and chinchillas will do that, in frightened states.

We had about 8 or 9 ewes that had lambs.  The dogs are responsible for  
the losses we've had.

GOOD fences are planned for the NY place.
