[AT] Hefty Tractor Company - Madison, WI????

Charlie,

Thanks, I have seen those posts and they seem to all be looking for similar
additional information I am. I believe there was one who posted on YTMag who had
an original manual. Following up on that may be of help although the post is
quite old, back into 2006 I think. I've not seen anyone mention that they have a
Parts catalog or any further historical information on the company. It does
appear that there may have been successor companies who followed up on making a
AC model G clone later on. I don't know yet if there is any direct connection in
the lineage though. Hopefully, there is someone on the list who may have lived
in the area who remembers the company. Thanks again.

There seems to be quite a bit of chatter about Hefty on Yesterdays tractor. Try
a search there of Hefty. Most are people looking for engine and transmission
parts that seem to be no longer available. Several posters claim to have both a
g and F. Below is a sample on one post:

(Engine is a Continental R800, 37hp,4cyl.,overhead valve,gas. Engine is
the same that was used in the 1959 Renught(sic) Dolphin rear engine
car.I have a model G and a model F Hefty. The F model is a front engine
tractor.)
