[AT] OK, did somebody leave the list exhaust stack uncovered?

The list was working so nice last week. Either I'm just not getting
messages or somebody left the cap off in the rain and the list engine
has become stuck... ;-)
Has anyone ever had a tractor engine become stuck from water getting in
the stack?
My Allis C had become stuck a couple of times before we got it but they
had gotten it freed up and kept using it. Once when I pulled the head to
replace a leaking head gasket I noticed that you could still see marks
(not really a problem) in the cylinder walls where it sat when stuck.
Those are long gone now since it got all new pistons and sleeves during
a total rebuild some years ago.
I had the wide front axle off of my Farmall 400 some years ago and it
was parked outside with the exhaust capped. A storm took the cap off and
I didn't notice it. It sat for a year and the engine stuck and one
sleeve was ruined. It is apart now (has been a while) and I have the
stuff to fix it. I don't expect to get it together this summer but maybe
this winter. I don't really need it at all but it does need to be running.
I had quit using it because it was so danged unhandy refueling it as an
odd job tractor. It was my only LP tractor. I would be working in a
field a few miles from home and run low then it was either jury-rig
something, call the fuel truck or drive it back home to my tank. I know
some guys like LP's as collectors but for using it got to being a pain
and I wished it was a gas (or diesel) a thousand times. I did like the
way it ran so clean and it was better at pulling a load than my Super M,
my S-MTA or even my MF-165D. Just unhandy...

Maybe a little PB-Blaster in the spark plug holes of the list engine
will help.

I wouldn't mind being absent minded so bad if forgetfulness
could just be a little more selective. Just last week I
was saying so to "whats-her-name..."
