We had some recent local news about the Orange Blossum Special.  Apparently 
over the years many folks have claimed to be the writer/composer of the 
song.
Well recently there has been an agreement about who actually wrote it and it 
turns out to be a fellow who grew up about 15 miles from my home.  About a 
month ago the NC State Archives Dept put up an Historical Marker to honor
