The answer is no there isn't a fill plug and level plug on a WD-45 that I
can recall. There is a dipstick plug on the PTO/transmission housing on the
left side that you can read. The others are fill to the top of the threads.
If your tractor has any hours on it at all prepare to split it and put in
the PTO/tranny seal the is back to back. They get hard wear the shaft and
start swapping fluids between the housings and then the hydraulics don't
work worth beans. Speaking from experience make sure the final drive pans
aren't leaking and are full or it won't be fun to fix.

This looks like a real tractor question, but I haven't seen many real
answers. Fill plugs are usuall find on the top of case. At any rate if the
plug is on the side of the case(much the same as car or truck differntials)
then filling to the to that level should not be a problem.

I have an Allis Chalmers WD-45 and was wondering how to check the fluid
level of the transmission, differential and transmission clutch? The book
says to "Keep filled to level plugs". I'm used to seeing a fill plug and
then a smaller level plug on the side of the transmission, you poor fluid
into the fill plug until it comes out of the level plug. Problem is I don't
see any level plugs on either side of the transmission or differential.

Does this mean I just fill it up to the top of the fill plug?

  Thanks for the help!
