[AJD] What does this brake drum fit?

John,

According to a JD Parts Catalog PC1873, it is a brake drum for JD 750 Compact
Tractor which was made by Yanmar for JD. I happen to own one of these tractors
and had worked on the brakes recently and the part number triggered a very hazy
memory. However, what really triggered my memory was just doing a Google search
on the part number. That shows a link to this site:

http://www.mainetractors.com/john%20deere%20650/john%20deere%20650.htm

which references this part number being used on a 650 which is just a smaller
version of the 750. However, my Parts catalog doesn't show this part number
being used on a 650 at all but on a 750.

These tractors were made and sold in the early to mid 80's. On a sample of one
of these tractors, the brakes are not one of their best features but adequate.
Otherwise a darn good worker and reliable.

Subject: [AJD] What does this brake drum fit?

I received a new John Deere brake drum, part # CH15074, along with a bunch of
other parts recently. I do not know what it fits. It is not listed in the 1979
Agricultural Master Parts Index that I have, so I suspect it is for something
newer. I was not able to get any more information from the Deere parts web site.
Does anyone have a newer MPI and could you check the applications that this
would fit? Thanks,
