Additionally, 1/2" PEX is not 1/2" ID, more like 3/8".
1/2" PEX fittings are closer to 1/4" ID.
Still probably more than adequate to run an air nailer.

Another thing you fellas haven't considered is the amount of elbows in
the proposed system. Pressure will not be affected but volume/flow
velocity will be reduced at each turn.
