Thanks to everyone for your responses. I am having hughesnet installed after
exploring every other possibility. From my research the problems seem to
start with a poor installer/installation. I intend to be home with the
installer here, and I won't let him go until I'm satisfied. We live down in
a "holler" so there is no way to use microwave or any other line of sight
system. We don't even get cel phone service except in one specific place on
our property.
We have cable broadband at work so I can do the bulk of my program or file
d/loading in town. We have college kids in the home taking online classes
and using multiple computers, so I'm going to run them thru a wireless
router into the sat modem. I'm tired of having to ignore you fellows links
to pictures of your tractors and shops.
Warren
