The hughesnet. sux for what you get at 69.99 monthly,
250mb download cutoff for every 24 hours.
If you exceed you get CUT off for 24 hours, but it dont use no phone line.
And is on 24-7 runs from a bit over 1 mb to 750 kbs down and 1/2 that or
less up.
This is the 2nd sat provider we have had, the first was direct way.
Also have tried the microwave, no deals. an also cingular wifi that had so
weak signal that it couldnt hardly find the router sitting on the shelf 10
feet away.
If I had dialup 24.4 k there would be no question about it go with the
hughesnet / wildblue or whatever just remember not to download no great big
programs ect.
Or get ready for very limited internet for the next 24 hours. And its easy
to go the 250m in an hour or two.
O ya and get used to talking to service in india, phillipines, or other far
off place that speaks strange english.

Kevin
