Its actually interesting about my collection.. I did not grow up on a farm,
but in the suburbs. I didn't have any contact with a 2 cylinder until I was
about 30ish.. I fell in love with the big cast iron.. I now have a JD 70
gas, restored myself, an JD LUS power plant (restored) and JD/LETZ Burrmill
(restored). Once I get my shop back up and going (moved and built a house),
looking for either a 40T or 40C to use in the property. Plus the crown
jewel I hope someday to get is a W powerplant...

I live in a very high tech world (fly state of the art airplanes) and love
to take a step back into time when its about raw grunt of cast-iron and
cubic inches to get a job done. I use my tractor all the time and have
bought some stuff to go with it. A jd30 Pto driven combine is one of the
most interesting things..

I just love the hear the tractor work and grunt pulling the 4 bottom plow,
box blade, or rotary cutter.. I settled on the first numbered series to work
with due to the technology change from the letter series and it was
something that I could afford on my wages 10 years ago...
