I guess the auto makers don't like me very well. I have never bought a new
vehicle. I've bought good used ones and looked after them as if I was
planning to drive them forever. If it wasn't for rust, I probably would.
I've owned my 81 GMC for 22 years and it shows no signs of failing yet. Its
comfortable, cheap to license and does what I need it to. Plus, I don't need
to lift the box off it to replace a fuel pump. Come to think of it, I've
never replaced a fuel pump on that engine.
