Charlie -

A friend of mine bought a new Corvair in '61, and as I recall, it was great
on snow-covered roads. However, I also recall it was a bear changing the
sparkplugs.

Merry Christmas to all you ATISers.

If I remember correctly, when the Corvair hit the street in 1960, it was
equipped with a gasoline heater due to no hot water with an air cooled rear
engine. One of the early GM recalls was a change of the jets to correct fuel
flow.
