>The right side brake shaft on the 8N that I am currently restoring
>has enough play in it that only one of the brake shoes are moving.
>It appears that there must be a bushing on the inside of the shaft
>that is allowing the shaft to move at that point instead of in the
>brake drum. The left side works correctly and has only a very slight
>amount of play. It is interesting that the right side has so much
>play yet the left side has very little. I don't currently have an
>I&T manual. I've found the bushing online. If this is what I need,
>does the shaft come out from the wheel side? It looks like the hub
>and brake assembly would have to come off and then does the shaft
>slide out? How much of a job is this? Thanks in advance.
