One of the local municipalities was hit by this law. The Town Supervisor
actually went to the board and talked to them about installing one, They
planned to use all the dead fall and trees they cut through the year in
it instead of chipping them. The plan was also that it would be an
additional system to the primary heat they already had, that way if it
did go out or they used up all the wood no real problem.

Town board says "Sure go ahead, sounds like a good idea". Supervisor
goes out and buys the unit, starts installing it and the town board
calls him in. They asked him what he was doing, he told them, they then
proceed to tell him that the unit he was installing was illegal under a
law they passed two WEEKS prior to his first meeting with him!!!!
