[Ford-ferguson] Ford 2000

I have a 1968 Ford 2000 3 cylinder gas that hesitates and then is fine every time you let the clutch out or give it additional throttle.  It does get better as it warms up but never does get 100%.  When it is first started it sputters and bangs quite badly for the first few minutes. After it is warmed up you get the initial hesitation but then it runs fairly good until you touch the clutch or throttle again. Does anyone have an idea??.  Thanks David
