Sorry David, That picture didn't have the ammeter shown.
I didn't find the one I had but my the right terminal
of my ammeter is hooked directly to the one wire alternator lead
which is 10 guage.
Don't know about the lighting and switch/ignition operation.
Mine has no lights at all.
I try not run mine after dark because of our terrain and obstacles.
Rick

Subject: [Ford-ferguson] TO-20 Wiring
Have a few wiring questions on a TO-20. Have a new wiring harness and
it is setup for the warning light, and I have the directions on how to
wire in an ammeter. Also have non-standard ignition and light switches.
Here are the questions:
1) Is it possible to leave the warning light in place along with the
ammeter? or does the warning light have to be removed from the
circuitry for the ammeter?
2) What were the original setups for the ignition and light switches?
Trying to figure out where they were supposed to be installed on the
dash. Was there an option that the lights operated off of the ignition
switch? or were they always separate switches?
Thanks in advance,
David
