[AJD] Carb for 1951 A

Hi there,
I have a JD  carb from and A , slant dash, the # on it is 5, and the other
ones not clear, it looks like # 3, It is marred up so Im not sure . Can you
help me out?  Thank you

The gas A takes a #71 if it is a all fuel it will take a # 72 if it is a
late A. The # 51 came out on the G after s/n 13000. That said a # 51 will
work on the A and work good. They are a bit price but if your friend is set
on a # 51 let me know I have one or two that I need to rebuild
