What we thought about was to remove the heads on the John Deere then run a
shaft from the engine to a bevel gear on a shaft that replaces the JD crank
shaft. Some sort of plate would carry the short shaft bearings and mount
the IHC engine to the JD block

The idea was to use the engine and front end from something like a Farmall B
or C. Final touch suggested by a friend would be to paint it something like
Oliver green. Then we would claim it was a one off pre production model
that was an attempt to improve the line with the competitors best ideas.

Let the screaming begin.
