[AT] somewhat OT--skid steer vs tractor for mowing

I have seen a bush-hog I was using throw a rock the size of my head at least 50'. Some years ago I was chopping stalks with a John Deere 3 blade 7' mower and it threw a silly corn cob forward so hard that it hit the front axle and bounced back and hit me in the forehead. Quite a whack. I grabbed the kill switch and slumped over the wheel a minute then realized that I had blood running down my face. Not serious but took a little cleaning up.
